The Toronto Blue Jays lose against the Baltimore Orioles

The Toronto Blue Jays lose against the Baltimore Orioles. That increases the teams loosing streak to four losses in a row.

On Tuesday, Toronto activated third baseman Brett Lawrie from the disabled list. However, his return did not last long at all. In the third inning, Lawrie was taken out of the game with tightness in his lower back, as proven by ESPN.

What turned the game around was when Baltimore scored three runs in the fourth inning. At that the Orioles were winning four to two and they never looked back from that point in the ball game.

Toronto is five games behind the Orioles for the division lead in the American League East, according to MLB.com. In order for the Blue Jays to gain any ground in the next couple of days, the pitching needs to be more consistent.

Giving up nine runs is not going to get it done. In order for success to occur, Toronto is going to have to have a combination of better starts and quality innings out of the bullpen.
