TV Ratings: 'Extant' sees slight boost, 'America's Got Talent' falls

Extant saw a minor improvement in the ratings on Wednesday night, while America's Got Talent took a small tumble from last week.

CBS took the win for the night amongst the major four networks with a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.08 million viewers. Big Brother topped all programs for the night with a 2.3 demo rating, HitFix reports. Extant followed, seeing a small boost up to a 1.1 rating.

NBC averaged a 1.2 rating in the demo and the top audience of the night with 6.49 million viewers. America's Got Talent fell to a 1.8 key demo rating and Taxi Brooklyn closed out the evening even with a 0.8 rating.

ABC and Fox tied in the advertiser important 18-49 demo with a 1.1 rating, but ABC had the stronger overall audience with 4.04 million tuning in. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Motive got a slight bump for the season finale to a 0.9 rating.

Fox averaged 3.58 million viewers on the night and So You Think You Can Dance ticked up to a 1.1 rating in the demo. The CW's freshman series Penn & Teller: Fool Us continues to perform steadily at a 0.5 rating.
