Justin Bieber gets assault charge after reckless driving incident in Canada

It appears Justin Bieber cannot avoid law enforcement, no matter what country he is in. Just months after being arrested for drag racing in Miami, Bieber has been charged with reckless driving and assault in Canada. Allegedly the 20-year-old singer was driving an all-terrain vehicle when it collided with a mini van in Ontario, Canada.

For the last couple of months the Canadian native has made headlines for his run-ins with the law and most recently a fistfight between him and actor Orlando Bloom. According to TMZ rumors about an alleged hook-up between Bieber and Miranda Kerr, Bloom’s ex-wife, caused the fight in Ibiza, Spain. However, Bieber’s current problems aren’t dealing with matters of the heart. According to
Fox News Bieber was spotted getting on a private jet with his on-again off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez just days after getting arrested.

The Ontario Provincial Police confirmed the singer was arrested on Aug. 29 and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 29. According to ABC News, the singer was spotted riding around on an ATV with Gomez prior to the crash and subsequent arrest. Bieber nor his camp have shared a comment on the matter at this time.
