'Game of Thrones' season five teaser, special site launch: What is 'The Sight'?

There’s still months to go before Game of Thrones’ fifth season kicks off, but HBO is already getting the teasers out. The network tweeted a link to a mysterious site and posted a short teaser clip.

Overnight, a tweet included a link to ThreeEyedRaven.com howed up on the show’s official Twitter page. “Follow the Three Eyed Raven. Gain the power of #TheSight,” the included message reads.

Once you go to the site, it asks you to follow the Game of Thrones Twitter page to “receive visions of the future.” After that, you get a message that reads, “You now have the power of #TheSight. Keep watch for visions of the future.”

The tweet also included a 10-second teaser clip, which shows Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) running and gripping her sword. “I see a darkness in you,” the narration says. However, as The Hollywood Reporter points out, this is all previously seen footage.

The full quote from Melisandre (Carice van Houten) is, “I see a darkness in you. And in that darkness, eyes staring back at me. Brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. Eyes you'll shut forever. We will meet again.”

HBO still hasn’t set a premiere date for Game of Thrones, based on the books by George R.R. Martin, but it will likely return in Spring 2015.
