Macaulay Culkin posts tribute to 'Weekend at Bernie's' after second death hoax

Macaulay Culkin has responded to his second death hoax by reenacting a scene from Weekend at Bernie's from 1989.

As we previously reported, the child star, now 34, first responded to the rumors he had died by posting a photo of himself very much alive to his band, Pizza Underground’s Twitter account, writing "we're on tour you silly people."

He later posted the tribute to the dark ‘80s comedy, writing, "Weekend at bernies with @anchovywarhol #greenroom.”

Culkin took to the stage with his Velvet Underground tribute band at the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas on Saturday. Concert goers said his first words onstage were “I’m alive!”

According to E! Online they started their tour on Oct. 17 in Brooklyn and they will continue through Dec. 6.

Culkin was the target of a death hoax back in April, so this is the second time in a year’s span that he’s been falsely reported as dead.
