One lucky Bob Dylan fan got to enjoy live concert by himself

One very lucky Bob Dylan fan, Fredrik Wikingsson, was able to experience a concert alone at the Philadelphia's Academy of Music as part of a Swedish movie series called Experiment Ensam, which means Experiment Alone.

Wikingsson, who admitted he thought he was going to get “Punk’d,” did it for the series about people doing activities alone that normally would be experienced with a large amount of people around.

The filmmakers of Experiment arranged the concert, with Wikingsson explaining, "I have no idea how much it was, but it was probably more than he gets for a normal gig."

According to Rolling Stone, the lucky lone concert-goer said he “couldn’t fathom” Dylan and his band would agree – but they did.

"I was smiling so much it was like I was on ecstasy," he said. "My jaw hurt for hours afterwards because I couldn't stop smiling."

Dylan and his band played covers such as Chuck Willis' "It's Too Late (She's Gone)" and Buddy Holly's "Heartbeat.”

“I figured that maybe it just sounded phony or weird,” Wikingsson explained, the Wall Street Journal reports. “During the second song, ‘Blueberry Hill,’ I realized I had to say something. It was just too weird. I screamed out, ‘You guys sound great!’ That caused Dylan to burst out laughing."

Wikingsson continued, "Now, I have two kids and their births were great, but him laughing onstage at some lousy f**ing comment of mine was unbelievable."

Dylan’s newest album, Shadows in the Night, will come out sometime next year. It's expected to be made up of covers.
