Shia LaBeouf says a woman raped him during #IAMSORRY art installation

While promoting Fury, Shia LaBeouf appeared to be getting back to normal, sitting down for interviews and opening up about his bizarre behavior earlier this year. But in a new interview, he made more eyebrow-raising comments, saying that he was raped by a woman during his #IAMSORRY art installation in February.

In an email interview with Dazed, LaBeouf wrote that there was one dangerous incident during the performance art piece, in which he sat with a bag over his head behind a desk with bizarre items. Anyone who came to see him during the five-day performance was encouraged to do anything they wanted to him.

“One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for ten minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me,” LaBeouf wrote. “There were hundreds of people in line when she walked out with dishevelled hair and smudged lipstick. It was no good, not just for me but her man as well.”

LaBeouf explained that his girlfriend, Mia Goth, was also in line that day, since it was Valentine’s Day, notes E! News. So, it didn’t just hurt him, but Goth was hurt as well.

“When she came in she asked for an explanation, and I couldn’t speak, so we both sat with this unexplained trauma silently. It was painful,” LaBeouf wrote.

LaBeouf also said he was disappointed with people who just came in and took a selfie with him. “That felt terrible,” she said.

The text interview was accompanied by a video interview, in which LaBeouf and Dazed’s journalist sit without talking. So it looks like strange LaBeouf is back.
