Top 10 best 'Celebrity Apprentice' contestants

Contrary to his usual slogan, Donald Trump is saying “You’re hired” as the new Celebrity Apprentice cast is revealed. However, joining newbies in the infamous boardroom will be some past apprentices including the late, Joan Rivers.

As we previously reported, the celebrities competing in the 7th annual season of the NBC series, announced on The Today Show, Tuesday morning, will be part of what Trump predicts to be the best season yet.

According to USA Today, the men, joining the cast will include, World Series champion, Johnny Damon; comedian, Gilbert Gottfried; Deadliest Catch star, Sig Hansen; ‘Jonas Brothers’ guitarist, Kevin Jonas; Lorenzo Lamas; former NFL player, Terrell Owens; radio talk-show host, Geraldo Rivera; and Beverly Hills 90210 actor, Ian Ziering.

The women, on the other hand, feature Olympic snowboarder, Jamie Anderson; Olympic gymnast, Shawn Johnson; actress, Vivica Fox; The Cosby Show actress, Keshia Knight Pulliam; Television personality, Leeza Gibbons; The Real Houswives of Beverly Hills star, Brandi Glanville; Kate Plus Eight mom, Kate Gosselin; and Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kenya Moore.

Some of the show’s past winners will also be presented to mentor the new celebrities. Amongst the star studded supporters will be a two-episode appearance by Joan Rivers, whom Trump described as “strong and so vibrant,” in an interview on The Today Show. Rather than editing her appearances out of the show, directors took the opportunity to honor Joan, which will make fans reminisce on the best celebrities to compete on the Apprentice. So, here’s the Top Ten!

Magical comedian, Penn jillette was by far one of the best contestants to appear on the Celebrity Apprentice. Besides his comical contribution, Jillette was quite suave in the way he performed business, making him a fan favorite.

Number 9: Lou Ferrigno
Known for his role as the Hulk, Lou Ferrigno, proved to be more of a nuisance than the threatening green giant, played on the big screen. Disregarding his kind personality, contestants were constantly irritated as he interfered with progress, which was actually quite comical. “You won’t like me when I’m angry?(popular slogan of the Hulk)” More like, “You won’t like me at all!”

Number 8: Omarosa Manigault
Omarosa Manigault’s status of reality star, originated after her involvement on the original . Her villainous behavior landed her world-wide acknowledgement and a spot on the Celebrity Apprentice
a couple years later. It’s safe to say that her “get it done” attitude and sassy behavior, not only contributed to her stardom, but to some entertaining reality TV as well.
