“General Hospital” Weekly Recap – Week of 12/1/14-12/5/14

Morgan and Kiki were spending Thanksgiving at Kelly’s. Morgan however, couldn’t concentrate on the holiday as his mind was on the whereabouts of the baby.

Nina and Franco were hiding out on Prince Edward’s island up in Canada. Nina was fawning over the baby, but Franco believed that they needed to give the baby back and start a new life without her. Nina told him that his idea “sucked.” She didn’t believe that Ava, Sonny or Morgan deserved this child. She then threatened to take the baby and leave, but Franco reasoned with her and convinced her that she wouldn’t make it far on her own. Later, the two took care of the baby together and gave her a bottle.

At Silas’ apartment, Silas seemed to have misplaced his phone and asked Ava if she had seen it. She claimed that she hadn’t, but he still asked her to check her bag anyway. Ava found his phone and claimed that she must have taken it by mistake. Silas then saw that Kiki had been calling him, but Ava told him not to call her back. Silas wondered why. Just then, Kiki called asking him if he had heard from Nina or her mother. Silas replied that he hadn’t heard from Nina and lied to protect Ava. He then learned from Kiki that the cops were after Ava for Connie’s murder. After Silas hung up, he promptly prevented Ava from escaping.

Julian returned home to his apartment hoping to find Ava, but found Jordan instead. Jordan wanted answers about their boss. Julian replied that he knew it was only a matter of time before she found out everything so he told her that their boss was, but wasn’t, Luke Spencer. He was actually a man who had been posing as Luke for months now. Julian then told Julian that the cops would be coming for him, so he had to flee. He thanked Jordan for being a “good soldier” and saw her out. Before Julian could make his escape, “Luke” showed up with a gun.

At the Quartermaines, Alexis surprised everyone by bringing Luke home. Tracy asked what happened to him as he had been gone for months. Luke replied that it was longer, but had no idea what was going on. Dante then explained that the PCPD had been investigating him as Julian’s possible boss and in the death of Patrick Drake’s newborn son. Luke said he was innocent and Alexis came to Luke’s defense by explaining that he had been locked up in Miscavige when all of those events occurred. Alexis then revealed to everyone that someone had been posing as Luke since January. Tracy didn’t understand how the imposter managed to look just like him. Then, Lulu told them all that Larry probably had those answers. Dante and Ned then prevented Larry from escaping as Lulu explained what Sam and Patrick found in Larry’s safe deposit box, namely the file on Faison and blueprints for another mask. Larry claimed that he didn’t know any named Faison and begged someone to pour him a drink. Ned then told his father that his cover had been blown so he could drop the helpless drunk act. Larry replied that he didn’t need to answer to them and made a run for it with Dante in hot pursuit. Then, Lulu realized that Sam and Patrick saw Larry leave his safe deposit box with something and that it could be the mask of Luke.

At Wyndemere, Faison was reunited with Obrecht. She cried over what Anna did to him, but he assured her that he was fine. Faison then said that he had finally realized that Anna would never love him and that he had been such a fool to turn his back on Obrecht. Faison then said that he had one final job to do, and then afterwards they would leave Port Charles together. Britt then walked in on her parents kissing, threatened to get Nikolas and have Faison locked back up. However, Obrecht reminded her of the blackmail she held over her head. Britt then said that she wouldn’t tell Nikolas, but Obrecht couldn’t hide Faison there. Faison then said that he had a job to do anyway, but that he would come back for Obrecht. Then, Faison left and Obrecht was thrilled that he had finally chosen her over Anna. Then, Nikolas walked in on them as Britt was furious with her mother for once again threatening to destroy her happiness with Nikolas. Nikolas then asked Britt how her mother could do that.

At Kelly's, Anna insisted to a reporter that they were doing everything possible to get back Ava Jerome’s baby. The reporter then asked her about Obrecht’s accusations but Anna wouldn’t answer. Outside, Lucy spotted Duke. She was shocked and delighted to see he was free and started hugging him. Then, Anna came out and Lucy babbled about how great Alexis was to get Duke released. Anna replied that Sonny was responsible for Duke’s release and that it didn't come without strings. She then got a call and took off. Duke and Lucy then headed inside Kelly’s. She thought Anna was worried about his new job. He doubted that worry was what she felt and told her that he was taking over Sonny’s business while he was in prison. Lucy was concerned about the risk he was taking, but he insisted that he owed Sonny, which had already cost him Anna.

At the Quartermaine's, Luke thought they should be hunting down the guy who stole his face. Dante claimed that the PCPD has things under control. Luke didn't find that convincing and suggested they arrest Julian. Alexis made excuses for Julian, which Ned wasn't impressed by. He then added that he needed to know just how much damage his father had done. Meanwhile, Luke caught up with Lulu for a few minutes while he had a drink. Once she departed, Tracy smashes the drink from his hand, yelled about what a fool she had been and then broke down in his arms.

“Luke” held Julian at gunpoint in his penthouse. They exchanged threats and recriminations. Julian wanted his real name. Before he could get it, Dante and Anna barged in. "You!" growled Anna. “Luke” claimed to be Luke, but they knew he wasn't since the real Luke was at the Quartermaines and then demanded that he have his prints tested to find out who he really was. “Luke” then put down his gun and was cuffed. Then, Anna peeled off his mask.

Nikolas wasn't thrilled to spot Obrecht whispering at Wyndemere with Britt. He demanded to know what was going on. Obrecht claimed that she was just deliriously happy about Faison's freedom. Then, Spencer stomped in and orders them to carve the turkey. Obrecht prompted Spencer to stand up for Britt. Nikolas wondered what he knew about what was going on. He then pressured him to confess. Britt then piped up and offered to tell him what he wanted to know. Nikolas then sendt Spencer out and Britt came clean about when Spencer ran away.

In Canada, Franco told Nina that they needed to bring back the baby. She made him smell the baby. "That's love," she said. He joked that this wouldn't be the first time he took off with someone's baby... but he gave it away to Betsy. Nina thought he has “buried paternal instincts.” Franco then said that he wanted to be a father once... but then Ava came into his life and made him think Kiki was his daughter only to reveal that she wasn’t. Nina thought keeping the baby could be payback. "Be her father," she encouraged. He then agreed to stay.

In a motel room in New York, Silas told Ava that he knew that she was running from the cops, not Sonny. She wanted to go after her baby. He forbid her to do it. She admitted that she killed Connie. He tried calling for Anna, but she wasn’t around. Ava pleaded and pleaded for him to let her go. Silas eventually caved and agreed to help her get her baby back.

At the boathouse in Canada, Franco continued to try and convince Nina to give up the baby, since it would be difficult for them to hide with a baby. Nina wouldn’t hear of it though. Franco then suggested they at least give the baby a name of her own, as Nina kept calling her sweetie and munchkin. After suggesting some artist names that Nina rejected, Franco suggested they name her after someone in Nina’s family that meant something to her. She said her brother James had always done right by her, so she settled on the name Jamie.

At the PCPD, Madeline was handcuffed to a desk. She knew she was headed to Pentonville, so she told James/Nathan how proud she was of how he turned out. She then said that she wants to believe she had a hand in that given who his genetic parents were. Nathan agreed that Obrecht and Victor weren’t winners. Madeline was shocked when Nathan mentioned Victor. Nathan said that Obrecht admitted to him that he was his father, but he was dead now as Obrecht shot Victor to protect him. Madeline then raised some suspicions in Nathan, suggesting Obrecht shot Victor to prevent him from telling Nathan something.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas was floored when Britt admitted that she was behind Spencer running away and that they came up with the plan together. Obrecht then told Nikolas that she was the responsible party here as she was the one who pushed Britt to do it. Obrecht thought the ends justified the means though, and if Nikolas would climb down off his high horse then they could be happy. Nikolas then told Obrecht to leave immediately, which she did. Nikolas then let Britt have it for endangering Spencer and teaching Spencer that it was okay to lie to him. Nikolas then told her that she was selfish and exactly like her mother. He then told her to pack her things and leave, which she did. Before he slammed the door in her face, Nikolas suggested that she get a lawyer for what she did to Spencer.

Alexis met Molly at Kelly’s and tells her that Ric was innocent all along. Alexis said Molly was right and she wished she could take back siding with Julian. Molly was furious with Alexis and told Alexis to leave, as she couldn’t look at her without thinking of Ric in a body bag. Alexis left Molly to give her some space.

At the Quartermaines, Lulu introduced Luke to his grandson Rocco. Luke asked Lulu to explain to him how he has a grandson who was over a year old, so Lulu told him about the stolen embryo and Britt. Later, Lulu got an update from Dante and told Luke and Tracy that Faison was the imposter. Luke threatened to kill Faison himself, but Tracy and Lulu calmed him down and convinced him not to take matters into his own hands. Later, after Lulu left, Tracy tried to convince Luke to come to bed. Luke said he would be up shortly. Once alone, Luke eyed the fireplace, where a hidden phone had been planted.

At Julian’s apartment, Anna unmasked “Luke” to reveal Faison and she promptly slapped him. Dante promised Faison that he would spend his life behind bars for this, but Faison said this was all Anna’s fault for trying to lock him up on Spoon Island. Dante then took Faison into custody and Anna arrested Julian. Julian explained that he couldn’t get out of the business, since this guy had his son shot and threatened to do worse. Anna replied that he still had to pay for his part in this and in ruining several people’s lives.

Back at the PCPD, Obrecht walked in on Nathan talking to Madeline. She was hoping to spend time with Nathan before she had to go. Nathan wondered where she is going. Just then, Dante brought Faison in. Obrecht furiously ranted about Anna and injustice until Dante told her to shut up. Faison soon realized that Nathan was Obrecht’s son. Obrecht then revealed that she had him with another man, but she still only loved Faison. Dante then dragged Faison off to an interrogation room. Obrecht was upset, and Madeline couldn’t believe she was about to run off with that lunatic again. Madeline then blackmailed Obrecht. Madeline wanted Obrecht to testify for her and against Nina, otherwise she would tell Nathan who his father really was. Later, Anna arrived with Julian, only to find Alexis waiting there. However, Alexis said that she wasn’t there to be Julian’s lawyer, she needed updates on the fake Luke. Anna then took Alexis to a private corner and told her that there was something she should know… Ric was alive! Meanwhile, Dante had Faison in the interrogation room, but he demanded his phone call. Faison was given his phone call and called Luke at the mansion on the planted phone. He said that everything worked on his end. Luke, who was really “Luke,” replied that “none of these idiots here are any wiser.”

At Wyndemere, Spencer demanded that Nikolas tell him where Britt was. Nikolas explained that he kicked her out because of what she did to him. Spencer stood up for her, but Nikolas said that he couldn't be with someone who would use his son. Spencer replied that he just wanted a mom. Nikolas replied that his real mother would never have endangered him. Yet, Spencer still wanted Britt to be his mom. Nikolas then ordered him to drop this and insisted they were better off without her. Spencer then replied that loved Britt and hated Nikolas for making her go away. Spencer then stormed out.

Obrecht was at the pier, wondering how Faison could have allowed himself to be caught. Then, Helena suddenly materialized and reminded Obrecht that Victor was part of her family. She then admitted that she was never very fond of him. They then discussed Faison. Helena said that he wouldn't be locked up for long because she was going to make sure of it. She then added that she would find a way for Obrecht to thank her later.

Brad bumped into Britt at Kelly's. He noticed something was wrong, but she didn't want to talk about it. They did anyway. She explained that Nikolas had kicked her out after learning about what she did. He wished she would have called him earlier. Britt then added that Nikolas was planning to press charges against her. They then talked about her financial woes and he offered to help her out. He had to then head to work. They exchanged “I love yous.” Once he was gone, Obrecht arrived and announced that everything would be alright.

At the PCPD, Anna and Faison talked over each other in the interrogation room. She told him how much she loathed him, recounted the decades of torture between them and how she thought it was all just because he could never have her. He then replied that she was no better than him and then tried to bite her. Anna then vowed to send him to prison. "You say that all the time but it never happens," he pointed out. They then rehashed his many crimes. She then said that she was determined to keep him away from Robin forever. She then let Patrick and Sam in then left. Sam demanded answers about why he killed Jason. Faison replied that it was just business and that Jason would have understood. Sam didn’t take that well. Patrick then confronted him about his son, Gabriel’s death. Faison claimed that was actually Victor’s doing. Then, they told him what Spencer said and tried to make sense of this. Faison then told Sam what Robin had been doing at Creighton-Clark with a still alive Jason. He suggested that she get the rest of her answers from Patrick. Sam then ran off in tears. Patrick followed her. He then admitted to her that he knew that Jason was alive.

“Luke” was at the Quartermaines. Alice brought him breakfast and babbled about what a jerk his impostor was. She then said that she always knew he must have been a fake. He wondered why she didn't do anything about it. When he got aggressive, she babbled about her heart transplant. Then, he backed down and they bantered a bit. After she left, Tracy and Anna wandered in. Anna apologized since this was all her fault. “Luke” accepted her apology while Tracy tore into her. Anna kept apologizing, tried be re-assuring and then departed.

Jake/Jason was reading the paper at Elizabeth’s and asked her about the “Luke” news. He gasped when he turned the page and saw a picture of Helena. He explained that he met her in Elizabeth’s living room. Elizabeth then ranted about how evil she was. Jake/Jason then announced that he was going out to look for a job. She decided to call the PCPD about his visit from the “Queen of the damned.” Anna was shocked by the information. Moments later, Nikolas showed up at Elizabeth’s door.

Jake/Jason headed down to the pier. Helena was waiting for him.
Fluke goes down into a basement where he has Luke captive.

In the basement, “Luke” filled Luke in about the PCPD arresting the other “Luke,” Faison. This was all a bit much for Luke. “Luke” then informed him of Helena's involvement and claimed that no one would ever suspect he wasn’t the real Luke. Luke then demanded to know who he was. “Luke” replied by taunting him that he wasn't wearing a mask.

Sonny was in the prison gym mulling over his fights with Michael in his head. Then, Carlos came over, began taunting him and reminded him of their past. Sonny wondered why he confessed to AJ’s murder. Carlos explained that he did it for Sabrina and explained why before adding that he was getting out today. "There are a lot of people in here who hate the hell out of you," Carlos warned Sonny with a wink. After he wandered off, Johnny popped up and smirked at Sonny.

At Kelly's, Britt told Obrecht about Nikolas wanting to press charges against her. Obrecht thought she should leave town with her and Faison. She then filled her in about Helena's plan. Meanwhile, Sabrina ran into Michael outside of Kelly's. They discussed Carlos and then he reminded her of the job offer he made to her. She filled him in about getting fired because she did something terrible. Sabrina then urged him not to let a desire for revenge get the better of him. Later, she found Carlos outside of Kelly’s. They hugged and then he told her about how he planned to get back everything he had lost.

Helena cornered Jake/Jason on the pier. He got defensive about Elizabeth. This was entertaining for her, but she said that they had more important things to deal with. She told him that she knew him before his accident and spent time with him during his “death” and subsequent revival. Helena then filled in the blanks. "Jason Morgan is you," she said. He found that a bit hard to swallow and tried backing away. She then told him Jason's story. He was about to run off to find Sam, but Helena stopped him. "You work for me," she said before explaining that she had him “conditioned.” She then told him how she paid him a second visit at Elizabeth’s where they had arranged this meeting and then she ordered him to forget it. Helena then informed him of how Victor groomed him to work for her. She then added that she had a job for him and gave him secret instructions. Later, Britt showed up with Obrecht. Helena explains that they weren’t going on a luxury cruise. Obrecht insisted on taking Britt.

At the PCPD, Faison smugly told Anna about causing some problems for Patrick and Sam. She got riled up and he suggested that she relax. Anna then questioned him about Helena. He wasn’t very forthcoming, but teased her about mind control. Anna got frustrated and insisted that he could never control her and that nothing could make her love him. "The spell is broken," Faison said, announcing that he would be a free man... free from her. "You're not worthy of my love," he then added. Down the hall, Sam demanded some answers from Patrick. He admitted that Jason had survived Faison shooting him, but died later while Robin was trying to keep him alive and that he knew for months. She then shoved him and ranted about what she had lost. He said he was sorry. "Screw sorry!" she fired back. He then tried justifying himself and asked for forgiveness. She said she would never forgive him because she had lost her last chance to tell Jason that she loved him. He offered to take her home, but she asked him to go. Then, Anna came down the hall with Faison. She assured Sam that Faison would pay. As soon as Anna left, someone leapt in and grabbed Sam.

Nikolas showed up on Elizabeth’s doorstep and told her that she was right about Britt. He then filled her in about what she did. Elizabeth gloated and then told him about Helena being back in town. "It's official. My grandma's immortal," he replied.
