Dominic Di-Natale, veteran Fox News journalist, dies at 43 from apparent suicide

Dominic Di-Natale, a veteran Fox News journalist who traveled around the world for the network, died Wednesday at age 43. It is believed that he committed suicide.

Officials in Jefferson County, Colorado found Di-Natale’s body after a friend alerted them, reports Fox News. The friend knew that that Di-Natale was dealing with undisclosed health issues.

The U.K.-born journalist began his career in 1989, writing for magazines in Portugal and reporting on the European drug trade. He was hired by BBC World to cover international news and was based in Brussels, New York, London, Dubai and Frankfurt. In 2007, he joined Fox News and contributed to Fox Business Network.

He recently covered the protests in Ferguson, Missouri and visited Osama Bin Laden’s Pakistan compound for Fox News. He also covered the revolution in Egypt.

“We were extremely saddened to learn of Dominic’s passing and send our deepest condolences to his family and friends,” Fox News said in a statement. “He was an esteemed journalist and an integral part of our news coverage throughout the Middle East.”

His colleagues took to social media to express their condolences. Megyn Kelly called him “A great reporter, who off-air was always trying to help US troops.”
