'General Hospital' Weekly Recap – Dec. 8 to Dec. 12

Maxie was at Kelly’s worrying about Nathan. Lulu joined her and let her know that she had spoken with Dante and that both he and Nathan were okay. They then switched the subject to Maxie’s visitation hearing, which was next week. Lulu thought Maxie would, be able to celebrate the New Year with Nathan and her daughter. Later Lulu headed off, but Maxie continued to worry about Nathan.

Meanwhile, Carly was drinking alone at the bar at The Floating Rib when Patrick joined her. Patrick then told Carly the truth about Jason surviving being shot and how he was taken to the clinic where Robin attempted to save him. Patrick then said that Robin tried everything she could to save him, but that he still died. He then added that Sam was furious with him and that he had no idea what to do. Carly urged him not to give up on Sam. Patrick gave her the same advice about Sonny, knowing she would find a way to make it work.

In Pentonville, Sonny came face to face with Johnny. The two seemed to make peace, even bonding over their mutual hatred for Ava and love for Connie. However, it turned out that Johnny was running the show in Pentonville and told Sonny that he couldn’t appear weak to anyone on the inside. Johnny then had his men rough Sonny up while he sat back and made jokes.

At the PCPD, Anna, Dante and Nathan were preparing to transfer Faison to Pentonville by way of an armored van. Unfortunately, a masked man in black grabbed Sam and held her hostage in exchange for the keys to the van. During the scuffle, Nathan was shot in the shoulder. Anna then ordered Dante to throw the keys to the masked man, who then threw Sam to the ground and took off in the van. Anna and Sam saw to Nathan while Dante went after the van and Faison. Unfortunately, he found the van abandoned and no trace of Faison or the masked man. Then, Lulu arrived on scene and learned that Nathan had been shot. He was taken to GH and Sam rode along with him. Anna then told Dante that Faison had been spotted at the docks, so they headed after him.

At Elizabeth’s house, Nikolas was puzzled as to why Helena came to see Jake. He wanted to question Jake/Jason, but Elizabeth told him that Jake/Jason was out looking for work. Nikolas couldn't believe that Elizabeth was letting a complete stranger live with her and that Jake could be a psychopath. Elizabeth then told Nikolas that he was one to talk, since he trusted Britt for a second time only to get burned yet again. She then said that Jake/Jason at least had a clean slate.

On the docks, Helena learned Britt was leaving town with Obrecht and Faison in order to escape prosecution by Nikolas. Helena admired Britt’s determination where Nikolas was concerned, but she wasn’t happy to learn Spencer could have been put in danger. Obrecht then assured her that Spencer was fine. Just then, Spencer arrived on the docks having run away from home after learning Nikolas had kicked Britt out. He begged to go with her, but Helena ordered him to go home. Spencer back talked to Helena, not knowing she was his great grandmother. Helena then put him in his place and ordered him back home. Britt and Spencer then shared a tearful goodbye. She gave him back her engagement ring and urged Spencer to give it to his own someone special one day. After Spencer left, the masked man arrived with Faison. Helena took the masked man into a warehouse, where he was revealed to be Jake/Jason. Helena then ordered him to return to Elizabeth’s house and that per his conditioning he would remember nothing he had done. Meanwhile, Faison informed Britt and Obrecht that Nathan was shot during his escape. Britt wanted to stay behind, but Obrecht insisted that she be the one to stay. She and Britt then said goodbye and Obrecht told Faison that she had waited this long to be with him so she could wait a little longer. Obrecht then said that she gave up Nathan once and that she couldn’t do it again.

Jake/Jason then returned to Elizabeth’s house, where she asked him how the job search went.

Alexis ran into Maxie at Kelly's while looking for Molly. She puttered off and Maxie talked to herself until Patrick interrupted. He filled her in about his fight with Sam. Meanwhile, Molly was with TJ in the kitchen. They talked about their moms and how they could never trust them again.

At the Quartermaines, Ned and Olivia watched a movie with their 3D glasses on. He started talking about his fight with Alexis and how uncertain their relationship was. That piqued her interest. As they watched the movie, she hopped into his lap and claimed it was just because of the 3D. He then turned it off. She then said that she wanted to get something off her chest when Alexis interrupted. Olivia then started to stutter. She was about to leave, but Ned insisted she stay. She then went to get more popcorn. Meanwhile, Alexis apologized to Ned for defending Julian then he apologized for defending his father. She then tipped him off about Julian framing Ric and that he was alive. They then forgave each and smooched. Olivia watched and crumbled some popcorn. After Alexis left, Ned asked Olivia what she wanted to tell him. She covered by saying that she was going to ask him to New Year’s but since he patched things up with Alexis she didn’t see the point. He replied by saying that they needed to get her a date and told her that she was due for some happiness.

Anna and Dante had their guns drawn as they searched the waterfront from Faison. They found Jordan instead. Anna sent Dante off to check on Nathan. Then, Jordan's boss, Bob, showed up. Bob lectured her for being lousy at her job. She defended herself, but he fired her anyway. Anna stood up for her, but Bob then pointed out that Anna's reputation was looking pretty bad at the moment too. Yet, Anna continued to stand behind every decision she had made. "Good luck with that," replied Bob, who then left.

Alexis returned to Kelly's and found Molly, but before she could say anything, Anna called and informed Alexis that Ric was missing.

Nathan was brought into GH by some paramedics. They tried to control his bleeding and rushed him into surgery. Obrecht then burst in to save Nathan. Then, Lulu and Sam arrived at GH, eager for news. Sam told her all about being a hostage and about Nathan getting shot. Lulu wondered if she should call Maxie, then she did. Then, Dante arrived for an update and then Obrecht came out, covered in blood. She explained that Nathan would pull through. Maxie then barged in to see Nathan. Obrecht gave her a few minutes alone with him and then ordered Nathan not to scare his “Mutter” again. Meanwhile, Patrick fussed over Sam and told her that he cared. He then walked off. Dante needed a statement from Sam. She replied that she was determined to get the man who helped Jason's killer go free.

Jake/Jason returned to Elizabeth’s house. She was eager to hear about what he had been up to. He was exhausted and vague. She then sent him up to have a shower. When he came back down, she turned on the news and they watched a news story about Faison's escape. Cell phone footage of the escape was then shown. The reporter then explains that Faison, not Ric, was the head of the Jerome crime family after all. A shocked Elizabeth then told Jake/Jason about how she turned her back on him, but then changed her mind, but that he died before she could tell him that she believed he was innocent.

At The Metro Court, Sam was on the phone with Spinelli when Jake/Jason walked in. Sam finished her call and then invited him to sit with her. He asked how she was after what happened to her. Sam replied that she was okay, but that she knew the gunman was a pro and that the entire thing was planned and calculated. Sam then told Jake/Jason in confidence that she had a hacker friend named Spinelli who was trying to acquire the footage from the police station so she could try to find out who the masked man was. Sam then asked Jake/Jason what he was doing here. Jake/Jason replied that he had heard The Metro Court was hiring from Carly and that he needed a job. Sam then started filling him in on Carly and Sonny’s past history. Jake/Jason replied by saying that he felt bad for Carly.

On the docks, Dante questioned a fisherman about Faison. The guy said that he didn’t know anything about Faison, but after some roughing up he gave Dante some info on Franco. He told him that Franco had chartered his boat the night he fled with that woman and the baby. However, the fisherman wouldn’t say where Franco went until he had it in writing that he wouldn’t be charged as an accomplice. Dante felt this was wasting time, but took the guy with him to the PCPD.

At the Quartermaines, “Luke” apologized to Michael for the hell that his imposter put him through, but Michael said that he felt more betrayed by Sonny. Michael then said that he knew Luke and Sonny were old friends, but “Luke” replied that his time at Miscavige had made him reflect on things. “Luke” then said that Sonny had always been ruthless and that power had corrupted him. “Luke” then asked to apologize in person to Kiki for what the imposter did to her, but Michael said that he couldn’t help him there because they had broken up. “Luke” replied that it was important to him to make amends for what his imposter did, so he asked for a job at ELQ to prove himself. Michael replied that he would give the idea some thought and then headed off to work. Once he was alone, “Luke” took a call and said that he would “meet you there and that they had a lot to discuss.”

Carly visited Sonny in Pentonville and was shocked by his bruised face. Sonny dismissed her worries and said that he knew what he had to do to stay safe. He then asked about the baby, but Carly told him there were no leads and that the police were focused on Faison right now. She then explained what had been happening with Faison and “Luke” to Sonny. As their time was coming to an end, Sonny told Carly that he didn’t want her to visit him again.

Morgan and Kiki were at Ryan’s Bar. Delia was waitressing and flipped out when she saw Kiki. She gave her a big hug and introduced herself as her grandmother. Delia assumed Morgan was her boyfriend Michael. Kiki explained that she and Michael had broken up, and that she and Morgan were there looking for information on Ava’s baby.

Up in Canada, Franco took the baby for a walk outside, leaving Nina to panic when she woke up and found them gone. He later tried to calm her fears that nobody knew where they were. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door of the cabin. A young girl had seen Franco with the baby outside and noted that he had dropped one of the baby’s gloves and that she simply wanted to return it. The young girl thought she recognized him. Franco replied that he just had one of those faces, but she then exclaimed, "You are Franco!"

At Silas’ apartment, Silas had called around to some of Ava's old art contacts. Silas told her that he had found someone with information, who wished to remain anonymous, but had agreed to meet and tell them what they knew about Franco.

Back at Ryan’s Bar, Delia thought that Kiki and Morgan suspected that she was hiding Ava. She assured them that Ava wasn’t there and hadn’t set foot in the bar. Suddenly, Silas and a poorly disguised Ava walked into the bar. Kiki was furious with Silas for lying to her and Morgan was furious with Ava for killing Connie and lying to him about it. They all ended up quarreling with one another. Ava was hurt when Morgan revealed that he had told Sonny of her whereabouts. Ava thought they had come looking for her, but Kiki said they were looking for leads on Franco. Silas and Ava then said that they were there for the same reason. Ava then asked if they could put the past aside for a while and work together to find the baby.

At Pentonville, Carly couldn't believe Sonny was done with her and they bickered. Sonny wanted her to save her love with Michael. Carly blamed Franco for Michael hating them. She then added that she knew that Sonny loved her. "What about that?" Yet, Sonny insisted she let him go, but Carly replied that she didn’t want anyone but him. They talked about time wasted while she was with Franco and argued about her wanting to devote herself to Sonny while he was in prison for life. Sonny told her that he was no longer an option for her. Carly got furious when he told her to find another man. Sonny then said that he would refuse to see her if she visited him there. Then, Carly left. Once alone, Sonny recalled their good times.

At Ryan's bar, Ava implored Kiki and Morgan to help her. Silas said that this was about finding the baby. Then, a woman entered to meet them…it was Franco's mother, Betsy. Ava told her they had to find him because he had taken a baby. Betsy sighed and said, "Not again." She then talked about Franco taking a child before and about a woman, Ava, who had tortured him for years making him think he was Kiki’s father. Silas said he was Kiki’s father. Ava wanted to focus on the current stolen baby. Betsy thought she can help, but when she learned Ava's identity after Delia accidentally blurted it out, she refused to help. Morgan then interrupted to ask if Betsy would help him since he was the baby's father and hadn't even seen her yet. Betsy then relented. Delia and Betsy chatted later on. Betsy told Delia that it broke her heart that her son kept committing such despicable crimes.

In GH, Anna and Nathan discussed Faison's escape. She told him that she would let him know of any new developments. Then, Anna left and Elizabeth talked to Nathan about Faison getting away and how Sam could have been killed. Then, there was a knock at the door, it was Maxie with a plant. She read the card from Britt. Nathan wondered why she hadn't come by. They then bickered about Maxie taking a risk by being there. She talked about getting access to her daughter and them being together. Then, they kissed. Nathan then thanked her for the visit.

Elsewhere, Dante told Anna that he may have information on Franco's whereabouts. He explained how, then showed her Nina, Franco and the baby’s possible location.

At The Metro Court, Sam told Jake/Jason that him viewing the hacked security footage could put him on the wrong side of the law. They watched together anyway. Sam said, "That's our guy." She was disappointed because the masked man could be half the guys on the planet. Jake/Jason replied, "It could be me." She then asked if he had an alibi. He said he went to Foot Locker and she admitted that she didn't really think it was him. As they talked he said, "It's not like I haven't got all day," and Sam flashed to her captor saying that. She then hastily exited the hotel. Carly then stormed in for a drink. Jake/Jason asked her, "I can help you with that."

On the docks, “Luke” and Helena came face-to-face. He told her that the Quartermaines had welcomed him back with open arms as per their plan. He then talked about how brilliant it was to have Faison wear the Luke mask and have Anna reveal him. "Now everyone believes I am the real Luke Spencer." He then complained about Faison's escape being less than discreet. Yet, Helena was pleased with the end result. They then discussed Nathan being shot. Helena said that her masked man assured her that it wasn't a kill shot. "He is a total professional. Who is soldier boy?" “Luke” asked. She wondered if he was jealous and explained that “Soldier boy” executed her orders and then forgets what he had done. He was the perfect weapon. They then discussed ELQ and that the others wouldn't give their shares up as easily as Tracy and Alice had. Helena then reminded him they had “Soldier boy.”

In Canada, Franco dealt with the woman at the door who had recognized him. He insisted that he wasn’t Franco, but she said that she had gone to one of his shows and was certain. She then asked to see the baby. Nina then appeared with the baby. The woman noted that the baby didn't look like either of them, and thanked Mrs. Franco for letting her see the child. Franco then asked the woman to keep quiet about seeing him. "My lips are sealed," the woman said. After the woman left, Nina thought they were in trouble because the woman would see them on the internet. "We have to get out of here." Franco disagreed. Nina complained that his “art groupie” might talk and that they had to protect their daughter. Franco then replied, "I'll get rid of her." Nina was worried, but was impressed by his dedication. Franco then exited with the baby and was confronted by Dante and Canadian Mounties.

Jake/Jason startled Carly at The Metro Court bar. She unloaded about her problems and her worries for Sonny. She then added that she was annoyed that he saved her and refused to let her visit him again. They then chatted about Michael and she continued venting about Sonny. Jake/Jason then explained that he was looking for a job. She was impressed that he could listen and challenged him to make her a martini. Carlos then strolled in to say the drink obviously wasn't “foul enough for this hoo-ha.” He then confronted her for standing by and watching him go to prison. When he threatened to make her suffer, Jake/Jason grabbed his head and held him down. He then forced him to accept Carly's apology and then let him up. Carlos then threatened that he would see them both again. After Carlos left, Carly thanked Jake/Jason and admired his skills. She then tried his martini. It was disgusting so she asked him to join the hotel’s security team.

Alexis dropped in to see Julian in the PCPD lockup. She asked him to put on a shirt and explained that she was there for Molly. Alexis then told Julian that Ric was alive. He was relieved until she explained that Ric had disappeared. He then asked her to be his lawyer, but she refused and walked out. Later, Carlos was shown in. "You're out?" Julian asked. "You're next boss," Carlos said with a chuckle.

At GH, Sam gabbed to Spinelli on the phone about Jake/Jason. Then, Elizabeth popped up and Sam told her that she suspected that Jake/Jason was the one who had held her at gunpoint. Elizabeth didn't find her evidence compelling and told her to back off. "How well do you really know him?" Sam asked. Elizabeth thought Sam should drop this. Later, Jake/Jason dropped by to see Elizabeth. He told her that his martini needed a lot of work.

In Pentonville, Johnny teased Sonny about Carly. Then, he taunted him about being “at the mercy of a couple of crazies.” He mocked him until Sonny threatened him with his sharpened toothbrush, but Johnny kept mocking him so Sonny threatened to cut his tongue out. Then, Johnny's thugs showed up. Sonny then pushed Johnny away. Johnny then suggested that Sonny hand over his organization to him. Sonny turned him down. Johnny replied that he was sure he would change his mind, just like the Jeromes would. Johnny then revealed that Ric was alive, that he had him and would cut him up piece by piece.

Up in Canada, Dante and some Canadian Mounties cornered Franco and the baby. Dante threatened to shoot him. He ran away anyway and they chased him. Around the corner, they ran into Kiki, Ava, Silas, and Morgan. Silas slipped away to look for Nina inside the warehouse while Ava tried to talk Franco down. He said that he didn't trust her. She begged him to give him her baby. He then dropped “the baby,” which was just a bag of flour. He was then handcuffed and they demanded to know where the baby was. Dante arrested him for stalking, assault and kidnapping. Franco assured Kiki that everything he did, he did for Nina. Meanwhile, Silas tracked Nina down inside. He told her that they should raise the baby together. She assumed he just wanted the baby. Silas claimed that he wanted to take her pain away and asked to hold the child. After some convincing, she finally put the baby in his arms. Then, Ava and Morgan barged in. Morgan held Nina back while Silas handed the baby to Ava. Nina freaked out. Then, Silas tried to hold her still while Ava left with Morgan and the baby. They were relieved to see that the baby was okay. Dante then promptly arrests Ava for murder.
