James Franco and Seth Rogen play "Freaks and Geeks" Game

There are many things in life that seem plainly unfair: “Freaks and Geeks” coming to an end after one short season unquestionably fits into that category. Recently, Seth Rogen and James Franco sat down together and played a YouTube generated video game version of the 1980’s cult classic TV show.

The Fine Bros. and Dr. Octoroc came together to create a virtual realm of the show, where one can play on the side of “the freaks” or “the geeks.” Rogen and Franco reminisced on the show, shared inside jokes and played through the game as their beloved characters, Ken Miller and Daniel Desario. The show may have abruptly come to an end 14 years ago but their memory of the show was just as sharp as ever.

"Thank you for not realizing there's lots of other better shows that have come on in the last 15 years, and focusing on ours," Rogen stated according to CNET.

Jump into the interactive, virtual world of McKinley High and choose to play as Lindsay Weir and her slacker group of friends. Alternately, one can play as her younger brother Sam and his two best friends, because who needs another friend when you already have two?

This simply isn’t a mindless video game
—there are choices to be made within the game and questions involved such as high school math equations, reports The Huffington Post.

Maybe by abusing the play button, more “Freaks and Geeks” related games will surface or furthermore, force a reunion to fall into place. One can only hope but for now, fans will continue to binge watch the first and only season on Netflix.
