Jessie James Decker reveals how she lost 45 pounds after having her first child

Jessie James Decker is one proud, healthy, and fit mama!

Decker welcomed her first child, a daughter named Vivianne Rose in March with her husband, football player Eric Decker. During an interview with E! News, the new mom revealed what she was craving during pregnancy and the way she’s dropping the weight, at her own speed. "I will say a lot of it has been natural and genetics. My mom looks incredible,” she said.

The “Baby It’s Christmas” singer also revealed that she struggled through a hump when it came to dropping the last of the baby weight, just like most new mothers. "I gained 55 pounds [while pregnant] and so there was a little phase in there where I was just sitting at a weight and I was uncomfortable.” She continued, "So for about four to six weeks, I was on the StairMaster every single day and eating a little better and I dropped that extra 15."

The country singer confessed that she’s at a point where she feels comfortable with her weight and she’s okay with still having to lose another 10 pounds. She even joked about her eating habits while she was pregnant with her daughter saying, "I definitely enjoyed myself, I had a snickers a day. You know you have an apple a day, I had a snickers a day!”

Decker also made it clear that she’s not giving into the pressure from the public to lose the baby weight fast. "I don't think it's realistic and I don't understand it because the real women out there are not dropping weight like that that quick. It's not possible." She added, "I would rather focus on taking care of my daughter than getting skinny again. It's a little silly."
