Michigan tweets happy birthday message to Jim Harbaugh

As the chase to gain San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh's services continues for Michigan football, they seem to be willing to pull out all the stops. Today is Harbaugh's 51st birthday, which didn't go unnoticed by Michigan.

According to CBS Sports, Michigan sent out a tweet to Harbaugh to wish him a very happy birthday. The picture choice was as transparent as it gets, hopefully allowing Harbaugh to relive his amazing college days in Ann Arbor.

Although the entire world knows it's Harbaugh or bust in the eyes of Michigan brass, 49ers general manager Trent Balke is claiming that they've handled everything the right way up until the point.

“As long as it's handled correctly, I think the University of Michigan, in reaching out, did handle it correctly,” Baalke said according to CBS Bay Area.

Where Harbaugh will land after this season is anybody's guess. Most thought he wouldn't leave the NFL after getting so close to that Lombardi Trophy the past three seasons, but recent reports are indicating a possible a change of heart. Even his family is encouraging him to take the Michigan job.

As far as the current task at hand is concerned, Harbaugh will most likely wrap up his 49ers coaching career this Sunday as his team faces the playoff bound Arizona Cardinals.
