Kathy Griffin will carry on Joan Rivers' 'fearless style of taking no prisoners' on 'Fashion Police'

As Kathy Griffin prepares to replace the late Joan Rivers on E!’s Fashion Police, she promises to keep the same approach when it comes to the ruthless style of judging celebrities’ fashion.

She has the same sass as Rivers did in the promo released last week, and as she does her rounds to promote the Jan. 12 premiere, she’s giving insight into the new season.

Griffin will join mainstays Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic, and she will be joined by fellow newcomer Brad Goreski.

"I will continue, if nothing else, in her fearless style of taking no prisoners," she said on the Today Show on Monday, The Hollywood Reporter notes. "But our styles were different. I’m a different human being, I’m more improvisational and I don’t know what I’m going to say and neither does anyone else on the panel.”

She also praised Rivers for her “fearless and no-holds-barred” approach to the show, which she will continue.

While on the Late Show, Griffin joked around with David Letterman, telling him he’s on the worst dressed list.

People reports he took the comment in stride, saying "Okay, I probably am, but I don't care."
