Top 10 worst movies of 2014

There's no denying 2014 had a wealthy variety of wonderful movies. From February to December, there were wonderful movies screening in front of cinemas everywhere for long stretches of the year, and — while I would argue 2013 was a better year for movies — 2014 wasn't, by any means, a bad cinematic year.

But looking back, you'd be hard pressed to feel that way based on how many terrible, awful movies were released this past year. Movies that, across the board, were lazy at best and disgustingly unbearable at their very, very worst. There were movies this year so bad, they make clunkers like Transcendence look like a lovely time at the theater.

Of course, there were some I missed. Those would include Ouija; America: Imagine the World Without Her; Horns; The Identical; Atlas Shrugged: Part III; Men, Women and Children; Horrible Bosses 2 and Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas. I can't see everything, and I'm sure if I did see some of these they would have made the cut, but because I didn't, they will have to miss the list, for better or worse. But I did see enough to justify some form of a list, and I would like to share that now.

So, without further ado, allow me to talk about what were — in my opinion — the worst movies of 2014.
