AC/DC announces 2015 North American tour for 'Rock or Bust'

Days after opening the 2015 Grammys, AC/DC announced plans to hit the road in North America this summer. The legendary group will tour stadiums throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The tour, meant to promote their new album, Rock Or Bust, kicks off on Aug. 22 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. They will stop at other NFL stadiums, including MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and Ford Field in Detroit.

Other venues include Montreal’s Olympic Stadium, Wrigley Field in Chicago and AT&T Park in San Francisco. The tour will wrap up on Sept. 28 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Monday.

AC/DC is also touring Europe, starting on May 5. They are also performing at Coachella in April.

The Australian rock group kicked off the Grammys on Sunday with the title track from Rock or Bust and their classic hit “Highway To Hell.” They have been without original guitarist Malcolm Young, who has been out with an illness.
