Will Smith performs 'Summertime' on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' eyeing a musical comeback?

Will Smith is giving his fans some more nostalgia while promoting his latest film Focus, performing “Summertime” on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Jimmy Kimmel couldn’t be left out, since he performed “It Takes Two” with Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show then the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song on a commercial break of The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week.

Today.com reports on Wednesday night he took over the mic again and performed his 1991 hit “Summertime.”

Apparently, Smith also performed the hit during a commercial break for DeGeneres’ studio audience, ABC News reports.

But for the performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he had his collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff dancing and singing along through video chat.

We should all take this as a hint that Smith is eying a music comeback. He hasn’t released an album since Lost and Found in 2005.

He did say, “I’ve been thinking about doing some music again. I’ve been having fun as I go.”
