Kelly Clarkson takes to Twitter to address body-shaming comments

Kelly Clarkson is a new mother and has just released her latest studio album, Piece by Piece and yet, critics are still focusing on her figure. Clarkson recently made an appearance on Graham Norton Live while she was promoting her album and not everyone watching was impressed with her appearance.

People Magazine reported that British personality Katie Hopkins took to Twitter to express her disgust for Clarkson's full figure. Her tweets included asking if Clarkson had eaten all of her back dancers and saying that she was thankful that she had a wide screen TV.

Even when fans started to fight back and defend the "Since U Been Gone" singer on Twitter, Hopkins continued to shame Clarkson her weight and size. "Look, chubsters," Hopkins tweeted, "Kelly Clarkson had a baby a year ago. That is no longer baby weight. That is carrot cake weight. Get over yourselves."

When asked about the Twitter outrage by Heat magazine, she laughed it off and said that everyone is allowed to say what they will. "I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will," said Clarkson.
