Kendall Jenner denies ever giving interview on dad Bruce's transition

Kendall Jenner has denied making any comment on her father, Bruce Jenner’s transition to become a woman. She has taken to Twitter to slam Us Weekly for falsely attributing quotes to her when she claimed she didn’t even speak to them.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and model, 19, took some by surprise when she appeared to be the first in her family to comment on the transition.

She was quoted as saying, "I love my dad. He's always been there for me and my sisters. He's a wonderful man. And just because he's changing shoes now, so to speak, doesn't make him less wonderful. I will always love my dad, whether he's a man or a woman."

However, when several media outlets reported on her comments, she took to Twitter to clarify.

So far, only Bruce’s mother Esther Jenner has talked publicly about his transition. It leads us to wonder what the Kardashian/Jenners have up their sleeve when it comes to an announcement. It's safe to say he's waiting for the right time, which is rumored to be on the current season of the family's show.

Update: Us Weekly has retracted the story and issued the following statement:

"The interview was allegedly conducted by an independent freelance journalist at the Saturday, March 14, taping of Comedy Central's roast of Justin Bieber in Los Angeles. When Ms. Jenner denied, via Twitter, that the interview took place, Us Weekly immediately reached out to the freelance reporter. He stood by the interview, and continues to maintain that the quotes are accurate. However, after attempting to reconfirm his account, editors of Us have concerns about the veracity of this interview and the circumstances under which it was obtained. We would like to retract the story entirely and have removed it from our website. We sincerely apologize to Ms. Jenner and her family."
