Michelle Obama and Ellen DeGeneres break it down to 'Uptown Funk' for Let's Move Campaign (Video)

Michelle Obama appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to celebrate the 5-year anniversary of her “Let’s Move Campaign” and had some fun with the syndicated talk show host.

The duo – with the help of some So You Think You Can Dance alums – performed the choreographed routine that attendees will dance to on the White House lawn at the Easter Egg Roll this year.

They had some fun with trash talking beforehand, getting into the (good-natured) competitive spirit. They then took to the stage on DeGeneres’ set and performed a routine to Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk.”

The First Lady got so into it that her mic pack fell off and they had to start all over again. She was also there to promote her Gimme Five campaign, which celebrities like Beyonce and Nick Jonas have been involved in.

Obama beat DeGeneres at a push-up contest in 2012 while she was there to promote the campaign, which was certainly brought up before they performed the dance.
