Ryan Murphy's 'Scream Queens' adds former 'SNL' star Nasim Pedrad

Scream Queens adds another cast member to its already fabulous ensemble: Nasim Pedrad is joining the show.

Pedrad is moving from Mulaney to Scream Queens, but she’s staying with the Fox family, Deadline reports. She joins the previously reported cast members Skylar Samuels (Nine Lives of Chloe King), Nick Jonas ( Smash, Kingdom), newcomer Billie Lourd, Lea Michele (Glee), Emma Roberts (American Horror Story), Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween, True Lies) and Keke Palmer (Masters of Sex) who are series regulars. Ariana Grande is set to guest star.

Pedrad will surely be an asset to the show, as she is no stranger to comedy, being a Saturday Night Live alumna as well. She will be playing a lead role on the new series, from the creators of Glee and American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

Pedrad is currently recurring on New Girl on Fox.
