Scott Eastwood and Ray Olubowale join 'Suicide Squad'

The cast of DC's Suicide Squad is growing even larger, with two new actors now joining the cast.

According to ScreenRant, Scott Eastwood and Ray Olubowale have signed on to star in DC's Suicide Squad. Eastwood, son of Clint Eastwood, recently had a small role in Fury with Brad Pitt, a movie directed by Suicide Squad director David Ayer. His other films have included Gran Torino and Flags of Our Fathers. Olubowale is actually a professional boxer in addition to actor, and he has starred in the two most recent Resident Evil films as Axe Man.

No word yet on the roles either of these actors might be filling, but the rumor is that Olubowale could be playing King Shark, a humanoid shark character from the DC comics according to Comicbook.com. In the New 52 reboot of Suicide Squad, King Shark is actually a member of the squad. Olubowale is 6’7″ and has experience with being a terrifying villain in Resident Evil, so it would make a lot of sense to have him as King Shark.

An official announcement is expected to be coming soon.

Suicide Squad's cast has become pretty massive and impressive. The current line up includes Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney and Cara Delevingne. Jesse Eisenberg is also expected to appear, reprising his role as Lex Luther.

The film is an ensemble adventure about a group of supervillains sent on dangerous missions by the U.S. government in exchange for reduced prison sentences. Kind of like the Avengers of villains, the group typically consists of villains from a variety of DC comics. The movie is one of 11 movies DC currently has in development, hitting theaters just a few months after Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice

Suicide Squad will be released on August 5, 2016.
