Texas man arrested for 9th drunk driving charge while wearing hilariously appropriate shirt

Criminals often do stupid things and they often wear stupid things too. That’s the case for a Texas man who was arrested on his ninth drunk driving charge last week.

In his mugshot, Luciano Gutierrez, 66, wore a shirt that was oddly appropriate for his situation, notes The Smoking Gun. It featured a road sign that read “Warning: I Do Dumb Things.” Thanks for the warning.

Gutierrez was arrested on a DWI warrant issued in November. He was booked at Bell County Jail, then released on $25,000 bond.

KBTX reports that Gutierrez has already been convicted for DWI more than three times. That means that this arrest raises the crime to a felony.

KCEN TV reports that police have not given further details about Guitierrez’s arrest, but did say that officers found the shirt funny.

This isn’t the first time that a criminal has worn an appropriate jersey. In January, a man was arrested in Florida while wearing a shirt that read, “Seriously, I have drugs.”
