Top 10 blind auditions from night three and four of ‘The Voice’

The Voice is back and the search is on to find the best vocal talent in America. This season features the return of Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams along with Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.

This round of blind auditions even featured a twist that fans didn’t see coming, Coach Adam Levine took to the stage to perform his own blind audition after winning an artist to his team in a tough battle. This round also featured incredible covers of “New York State of Mind” and Pearl Jam’s “Last Kiss.”

TheCelebrityCafe.com is counting down the top ten blind auditions from the third and fourth nights of The Voice. The teams are already filling up and the talent level seems to be at a new high for the show. Season after season The Voice impresses with the blind auditions. 10. Meghan Linsey-Love Hurts

Meghan Linsey had a haunting tone in her voice and impressed with her performance of “Love Hurts.” Turns out this vocalist had worked and even performed with Shelton before but he was the only coach who didn’t turn around. It was at the end when Linsey really showed off the grit and tone in her range. She decided to become a member of Team Pharrell.

9. Kelsie May-You’re Looking at Country

Kelsie May impressed with her country twang and sweetheart personality so it was no surprise that the up and coming country star ended up being a member of Team Blake. Despite both Aguilera and Williams turning around.

8. Ashley Morgan- “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”

Ashley Morgan got the crowd on their feet and impressed with his cover of a Whitney Houston classic. Pharell and Shelton both turned around for Morgan and both coaches ended up on their feet at the end of the performance. It was up to Morgan who chose to become a member of Team Pharrell.

7. Lexi Davilla-“Dreaming Of You”

The opening notes of Lexi Davilla’s performance was captivating and set the tone for what she could do as a vocalist. Her performance was subtle but really showed the potential she had as an artist. Davilla had to pick between Levine and Shelton and joined Team Adam.

6. Koryn Hawthorne- My Kind of Love

Hawthrone had an amazing tone and passion right off the bat during her blind audition. Her song choice, “My Kind of Love” showcased all of the right aspects of her range and showed off what she could do with popular R&B songs. Aguilera pushed her button halfway through the audition, along with Pharrell. After all of the coaches hugged it out, Hawthrone joined Team Christina.

5. Corey Kent White- “Chicken Fried”

Corey Kent White put his own pop spin on Zac Brown Band’s “Chicken Fried.” His pitch was on key throughout the country song and impressed by singing and playing his own guitar during the audition. It wasn’t until the end of the performance that White’s grit and deeper tone showed off what he could really do. Within the last few moments both Pharrell and Shelton turned around, leaving the decision up to White, who became the next member of Team Blake.

4. Adam Levine-“Tiny Dancer”

Adam Levine took to the stage to perform his own blind audition after winning an artist to his team in a tough battle. He performed “Tiny Dancer” by Elton John and became a four-chair turn, with a little from Pharrell pushing his button.

3.Brian Johnson-“Reason to Believe”

Within the first few notes of his performance, Johnson had Levine turned around for him. He was closely followed by Shelton. Johnson delivered an incredible rock performance that had true passion in every note. He told a story while he was performing and captivated. It became a face off between Team Adam and Team Blake. Johnson became the next member of Team

2. Michael Leier-“Last Kiss”

It is not often that Pearl Jam can be heard on The Voice but Michael Leier impressed with his cover of the classic. It was subtle, natural and had that gritty feeling that Pearl Jam is known for. It wasn’t a surprise that Leier found his place on Team Adam.

1. India Carney – “New York State of Mind

India Carney blew away the blind auditions with her cover of “New York State of Mind.” Her performance was effortless, beautiful and was something completely refreshing. Before her performance even ended she was a four-chair audition. She became a member of Team Christina because her music had influenced her as a child growing up.
