Two cast members absent as 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' reunion begins taping

There was tons of drama at Friday’s taping of the Real Housewives of Atlanta taping.

While all of the fighting was present, there was one of this season’s cast members who was not. A source exclusively told RadarOnline that Demetria McKinney was “totally MIA” at the taping in Atlanta, Georgia.

McKinney’s role on the show was interesting at times, but viewers and production as well were not impressed with her debut on the Bravo series. “The producers didn’t feel that Demetria had enough to bring to the table.”

Radar also shared that McKinney wasn’t the only cast member to not be sitting on the couch when Andy Cohen and company kicked off the filming. Porsha Williams was also absent for the first part of production. “She came on half-way through the taping,” the source added in.

Williams was reduced to a half-time role this season following her attack on fellow cast member, Kenya Moore, at last season’s reunion taping. However, Williams has publicly stated that she believes she will be back on full-time next season.

This reunion should definitely be interesting, especially since Radar also reported that Nene Leakes, who announced a new spinoff with Kim Zolciak earlier today, left set crying for an hour.

Are you excited to see the reunion air?
