Comedian Chris Rock has been using his social media accounts to track the number of times he gets pulled over by police. He posted another new selfie on Tuesday, marking the third time he’s been pulled over since Feb. 13.
Back on Feb. 13, Rock posted a selfie that showed a police car clearly pulling up behind him. “Just got pulled over by the cops wish me luck,” he wrote. Then on Feb. 27, he was pulled over again, but not while driving.
On Tuesday, he posted another selfie, writing “Stopped by the cops again wish me luck.” This time, he was driving at night and the lights from the police car can be seen through his back window.
Rock didn’t explain exactly why police pulled him over or what the result of the stops were.
Rock has often joked about police relations and was even pulled over while filming his episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld, The Huffington Post points out.
Meanwhile, former Grey’s Anatomy actor Isaiah Washington stepped into the controversy by telling Rock that he should “adapt.”
I sold my $90,000.00 Mercedes G500 and bought 3 Prius's, because I got tired of being pulled over by Police. #Adapt @chrisrock

Washington then appeared on CNN with Don Lemon to talk about racial profiling. “There’s something that’s happening in [Rock’s] community or wherever he is on that road, coming in or whatever that terrain... they’re policing something,” Washington said.
