Netflix has confirmed House of Cards will be returning for a fourth season just about two months after the third season made its debut.
The official Twitter account for the show confirmed the renewal with just one tweet, with the caption “I will leave a legacy. #Underwood2016.”
Since all that was revealed was that the new season would be released next year, House of Cards showrunner Beau Willimon elaborated on his personal account.
“Official - S4 of @HouseofCards announced. But the writers & I have been secretly writing for months hehe. @netflix,” he wrote.
House of Cards stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright as Frank and Claire Underwood.

Before Season 3 actually did make its way to our living rooms, the season was released prematurely and pulled 20 minutes later. Netflix said a “technical glitch” was responsible for the leak.
