'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Recap: Reunion Part Two

We’re back for another episode of this seasons reunion for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Last week’s intro. episode laid the foundation for what has been promised to be the most intense reunion in Beverly Hills history.

Andy kicks off tonight by talking about Eileen and her successful television career. She’s been a regular on Days of our Lives and Young and the Restless for many years and Andy is curious what made her go for this format of television. Eileen says she had done just about everything she could on daytime TV and decided it was time for a change. She said reality tv scared the hell out of her and that’s exactly why she did. It’s also worth mentioning that Eileen reportedly got paid more than any other housewife in Beverly Hills for this season. That also may have had just a little bit to do with why she decided to come on the show.

Eileen is now talking about the wine throwing incident with Brandi, and how Brandi “made it known” that Eileen’s husband, Vince, was married when they met. Since Brandi’s mentioning it, Eileen says tabloids have been contacting Vince’s ex-wife trying to get stories. She also said she had to have deep talks with her children. Rude, Brandi. Look what you’ve done.

Andy asks Brandi if she could fire any housewife off the show, who would it be. She says she would fire Eileen (shocker) because she doesn’t believe that Eileen brought a lot to the show. Obviously producers disagree considering they’ve already asked her and Lisa Rinna, too, to return for a second season.

Somehow Lisa Rinna and and Brandi EXPLODE into an argument. There are so many insults and vulgar comments thrown back and forth it was hard to keep up with. Somewhere in the middle of “don’t talk about my children,” “you’re the biggest double standard I’ve ever seen in my life,” and “you’ve had the same hair for 20 years,” viewers could easily get lost. Andy sends everyone to a break after this and it’s obviously much needed.

After the break, Andy is giving viewer questions where someone asks if Brandi is jealous of Eileen? Brandi says she would never wish bad things for people, it seems she’s attempting to be nice but it doesn’t really go anywhere. I think most of the ladies this season are having a hard time moving past Brandi’s antics. Except Kim Richards of course, who is now defending Brandi saying that everyone just needs to accept her for the person that she is.

Another viewer calls Lisa Vanderpump out for not paying her son’s electricity bill when his lights were cut off. Lisa says he should work harder, light a candle, and call it a night. It’s admirable that despite Lisa’s endless amount of money and successful businesses, she requires her son to work just as she does all of her other employees at her restaurant. Tough love.

After another break we’re back with flashbacks of poker night at Eileen’s. Of course this night caused everyone to question Kim’s sobriety. Lisa Rinna says she knew that Kim was “messed up” the minute that she arrived at her house. She even asked her husband, Harry, “what do I do?” since she had to ride with with Kim for an hour to the event. Kim is giving her version of the night and according to the other cast members and the camera footage disagree with her side of the story though. Lisa Rinna even asked her how many days she was in the hospital when she was sick? Kim says 8 days. Lisa calls her out saying it’s gone from 5 days, to 7 days and now to 8 days. Caught.

Now Lisa Rinna is saying she had a talk with Brandi, hinting that Brandi talks about Kim and her sobriety more than she does because Kim claims all Lisa does it talk about her. Brandi says that she didn’t bring up Kim as a topic when she had lunch with Lisa. Once again, the footage says otherwise. Brandi did bring it up. Now Kim is blaming all the ladies saying that they tried to keep her around the house that night so the camera crew could capture her being not sober. This is all obviously not true. Kim is blaming everyone for everything when she and her best friend, Brandi, are the ones at fault.

Now everyone is trying to get Kim to admit what she “knows” about Rinna’s husband, Harry. If you remember, one of the Amsterdam episodes the ladies broke out into a huge fight when Kim hinted that Lisa Rinna was keeping a huge secret about her husband from the world. It’s what caused Lisa to go insane and throw a wine glass.

Wrapping things up, the spotlight takes to Kim and Kyle. Kim says Kyle should have defended her or been her sister support, and even says their other sister Kathy was appalled that Kyle didn’t. However, Kyle says Kim was indefensible and that is right. Kim has been a loose cannon this season. Kyle says she feels that she has been mistreated by her sister, Kim says the same thing. Kyle even calls Kim out for disinviting her to her daughter’s wedding. This cues the emotions for Kyle obviously because she starts crying. Kyle loses it, saying if Kim wants to take her nieces and nephews away from her despite Kyle having always loved and supported them, then do it. The episode ends with Kyle in an emotional rage, screaming “you’re so mean, leave me alone.”

Honestly, it’s no surprise. Kyle has always supported her sister and Kim is seeming to throw all of that down the drain this season. Perhaps one of them (Kim) shouldn’t return to the show next season. It’s time to amend things, ladies. You’re family.

Tune in next week for the final reunion episode of Season 5!
