Tori Spelling hospitalized after tripping on to hot hibachi grill, getting severely burned

Just as things were looking up for Tori Spelling and her family, the actress was hospitalized for severe burns recently.

She was out to brunch at Benihana on Easter Sunday with her husband, Dean McDermott, and their four kids; Liam, Stella, Hattie and Finn, as well as some other friends when her heel got stuck and she tripped on to a hot hibachi grill.

She tripped backwards and the back of her right arm was badly burned, though she did stay for the rest of the brunch. She tried to tend to the burn by herself at home but eventually went to the doctor, who referred her to the Grossman Burn Center.

A source told MailOnline, “Tori's doctor's determined she had a severe burn and suggested they remove the damaged skin and graft skin from another area of the body," adding, "She questioned if it was absolutely necessary but doctors said she risked severe infection and scarring if she didn't act right away.”

At least all is finally stable in Spelling’s personal life. McDermott told Fox411 their marriage is now better than ever.
