Aaron Hernandez sports new ‘LIFETIME’ prison tattoo during court appearance

Ex-New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez made a court appearance for another one of his ongoing legal battles Thursday and sported a new tattoo that looks to be commemorating his life-in-prison sentence.

Deadspin reported that Hernandez was in court to enter a plea for allegedly trying to silence a witness of a double-murder and it was hard not to notice his new jailhouse tattoo.

As previously noted the athlete was charged with witness intimidation earlier this month for allegedly shooting his friend in the eye in an effort to silence him ahead of his murder trial.

During his appearance Hernandez plead not guilty to the charge and his new neck tattoo, which spelled out the word “LIFETIME,” seemed to show his acceptance of his mandatory life sentence.

He was found guilty last month in the 2013 murder of semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd. His conviction carries a mandatory life sentence without the possibly of parole. His lawyers have appealed the conviction, but his tattoo may be evidence that he is preparing for, well, a lifetime behind bars.

He has already gotten into trouble since his conviction by reportedly serving as a lookout earlier this week so two other prisoners could fight.

A start date for his second murder case in which he is accused of fatally shooting two men outside of a Boston nightclub could be announced next week.
