Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears' 'Pretty Girls' out early due to leak

Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea were forced to release their single “Pretty Girls” early due to the song leaking this past weekend.

When the song leaked on Saturday ahead of its Monday release date, Azalea took to Twitter to ask that everyone refrain from sharing until it's officially out.

“I happened to have noticed that pretty girls, my song with @britneyspears has leaked and is on some radio stations etc... I'm really really happy to see so many people loving it but i also just want to clarify its not an ‘early’ release its a leak and if you can we would really appreciate everyone holding out until monday to share links etc if possible (i know its hard, I'm excited too!)” she wrote.

Both Spears and Azalea sing the chorus part of the song, which is rare for Azalea, who normally raps. Azalea also tweeted about acting like a “fan girl” over Spears’ vocals in the song.

As Spears confirmed last month, the duo will perform “Pretty Girls” for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards, airing May 17.
