Kelly Rutherford gets enough signatures on White House petition for President Obama's administration to review it

Things are finally starting to look up for Kelly Rutherford, who’s been embattled in the fight of her life trying to get her kids back to the U.S. from France, where they’ve been living with their father Daniel Giersch.

A federal court ruled in April that their 8-year-old son Hermes and 5-year-old daughter Helena are not required to return to the U.S. to be with their mother.

She has since appeared on Good Morning America to open up about the heartbreaking ordeal, in addition to starting a White House petition to get her kids back.

In order for Obama’s administration to review and respond to the case, the petition has to garner at least 100,000 signatures and it’s now currently up to nearly 110,000.

“I just want to thank every single one of you that signed and shared the petition! I am so blessed to have your support! #wedidit,” Rutherford tweeted on Wednesday.

She even got a very public shout out from Kim Kardashian, who wrote to the Gossip Girl actress, “I know I don't know you @KellyRutherford but as a mom I feel your pain and I wish you the best of luck! I hope you see your babies soon!”
