Caitlyn Jenner to go on speaking tour, signs with CAA

Caitlyn Jenner is already everywhere on television and now she’ll be everywhere around the country. Jenner, who revealed her new identity as a woman earlier this week, will be making highly lucrative speaking tour.

The CAA agency has signed Jenner to represent her speaking efforts, Variety reported. She will talk about the transgender experience and hope to use the attention she has received to help LGBT issues.

As Bruce Jenner, she also did speaking engagements, but was receiving much less. According to TMZ, Bruce earned $25,000 per engagement. However, as Caitlyn, she can earn over $100,000.

Social media is likely the cause for the jump in price. Before the Vanity Fair cover, Bruce Jenner never used social media. However, Caitlyn has, earning 2.37 million followers on Twitter just since Monday. She also became the fastest Twitter user to 1 million followers, beating President Barack Obama.

In addition to the magazine cover and the speaking tour, Jenner’s transition to a woman will be chronicled on the E! series I Am Cait. The eight-episode series will premiere on July 26 at 9 p.m.
