Cuba Gooding Jr. recreates O.J. Simpson's 1994 car chase for 'American Crime Story' (Photos)

Cuba Gooding Jr. is completely dedicated to new his role as O.J. Simpson, so much that he’s running around in his underwear.

The actor, who will be playing Simpson in American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson, was seen shooting a scene for the upcoming crime anthology series on Wednesday and he truly resembles the former football player.

Photos of the actor in action show him running wearing just a yellow collared shirt, his tighty-whities, long brown socks and black sneakers, notes E! News.

Cameras also spotted the recreation of Simpson’s infamous slow-speed car chase in 1994. The actor can be seen leaning out of the passenger seat window of a replica of Simpson’s white Ford Bronco.

As we previously reported, the first season of American Crime Story, which is produced by Glee’s Ryan Murphy, will center on the O.J. Simpson trial through the lens of Jeffrey Toobin’s book The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson.

Other members of the star-studded cast include David Schwimmer as Simpson’s defense lawyer and close friend Robert Kardashian. Selma Blair will play Kris Jenner, who was married to Kardashian at the time of the trial. John Travolta will portray Robert Shapiro, who was Simpson’s attorney. Connie Britton will play Nicole Brown’s friend and witness in the trial Faye Resnick. The cast is also joined by American Horror Story’s Sarah Paulson, who will play prosecutor Marcia Clark.

American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson is expected to premiere in 2016 on FX.
