Though it has not been confirmed if Lil Wayne will be joining the record label arm of Roc Nation or its management side, notes HipHopWired, he will be a part of a team that is already home to several big artists including Rihanna, Kanye West, Big Sean, and Fabolous.

Lil Wayne recently asked a judge to end his contract with his former label Cash Money Records.

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne filed a lawsuit against Birdman, Cash Money's co-founder. The lawsuit states that Lil Wayne claimed Birdman and the company violated their deal by “withholding tens of millions of dollars Cash Money owes him for his long-delayed album, ‘The Carter V.’”

Source say that the rapper was supposed to receive an $8 million advance once he began recording his album plus $2 million more after he completed it, but so far, he has not been paid at all.
