Mark Ruffalo is probably in 'Captain America: Civil War' according to Robert Downey Jr.

Captain America: Civil War is already going to be an insanely packed movie, and now it looks like the Incredible Hulk will be joining the gang in the upcoming film.

According to HitFix, Robert Downey Jr. actually told Mark Ruffalo that he's going to be in Civil War, even though Ruffalo still doesn't officially know. However, it looks like at this point he's assuming he'll be involved.

"If Robert Downey, Jr. says I'm in 'Captain America,' I'm in 'Captain America' dammit," he said. "And I will wait for the day that my call sheet shows up at my doorstep or my script. At this point, I'm told that I'm in it by Robert, which I'll take as biblical, but I just haven't heard or seen from production yet."

It's kind of odd that Ruffalo still hasn't heard anything, which probably indicates that if he's involved, it won't be in any significant way like Robert Downey Jr. is. After all, Civil War filming is already underway, so if Ruffalo was a part of the cast in the same way he was a part of Ultron, he'd have to know by now. Given where Hulk ended up at the end of Ultron, though, it makes sense for him to only make a brief appearance.

As we previously reported, the only major cast member who we know isn't in Civil War is Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury.

Otherwise, the film will include a huge amount of the established Marvel actors including Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, and Jeremy Renner. It will also feature newcomers Martin Freeman, Daniel Bruhl, William Hurt, and whoever Marvel ends up casting as the new Spider-Man.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
