Cara Delevingne addresses Vogue interviewer who called her bisexuality a 'phase'

Cara Delevingne is finally commenting about the Vogue interviewer who referred to her bisexuality as a “phase” last month.

As we previously reported, Delevingne, who’s currently dating musician St. Vincent, real name Annie Clarke, said in the interview, “I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I’m feeling so happy with who I am these days.”

But the LGMT community demanded an apology from writer Rob Haskell for writing in the piece, “Her parents seem to think girls are just a phase for Cara, and they may be correct.”

Delevingne is now reacting, telling the New York Times while promoting her film Paper Towns, she didn’t think Haskell was being “malicious” but denied his claims.

“My sexuality is not a phase,” she said. “I am who I am.”
