The weekend is over and everyone is recovering from the holiday. Its now back to the reality of work and school but while you are going through the weekly routine, why not check out the most popular, unique and fun music videos featured on YouTube. This week features a variety of artists that are up and coming in the music industry. From rocker Alexa Goddard with her new single, “We Broke The Sky” to Civil Twilight with “Holy Dove,” these artists are embracing their sound and finding fans night after night with different shows.

Rihanna and Modest Mouse are in a competition for the top spot on this countdown. Both have released videos that feel more like short films and are in large in scope. Modest Mouse goes down a complex and twisty visually road for their new single, “The Ground Walks, with Time in a Box” and Rihanna impresses with her video for “Bitch Better Have My Money.”

Pixar is known for showing short films before their major motion pictures and Inside Out is no exception. Inside Out features the short Lava which is an emotional and heartwarming story. The audio has been released online for those who haven’t seen the short or want to relive it. Pixar seems to have done it again with both Lava and Inside Out.

7. Civil Twilight-Holy Dove

This music video features an urban landscape, multifaceted lighting and an incredible dance routine. The video takes place within a subway system and the lyrics are captured within the dance routine. It’s a modern and artistic way of bringing this indie rock song to life. Civil Twilight has a full vision, not just a catchy single.

Alexa Goddard is a name that will soon be spoken on radio stations around the United States. Modest Mouse has a made a visual companion to their single “The Ground Walks, with Time in a Box” and it’s a complex, bizarre and abnormal creation but feels like a fit for the band. They are known for having different melodies and embracing new influences, this music video just displays that with full force. 1. Rihanna-Bitch Better Have My Money

This video does contain, language, nudity and violence.

Rihanna is back with a full music video for her hit single, “Bitch Better Have My Money.” The music video is over seven minutes long and has been given an explicit label. It appears that Rihanna has taken on a Kanye West style of lyrics with this single and channeled a mix of Dexter and Scarface for the video. Its loud, over the top and bloody; a new direction for a confident Rihanna.
