Wes Scantlin, frontman for Puddle of Mudd, arrested for a DWI

Wes Scantlin, frontman for Puddle of Mudd, has been arrested for a DWI. Scantlin was arrested after driving while intoxicated on Sunday in Minnesota.

TMZ reported that early indications show that Scantlin had been drinking four times the legal limit to drive and registered a .310 on a blood alcohol test.

KARE, a local news outlet out of Minnesota, reported that the criminal charges state that Scantlin was speeding on a local highway and was spotted by a sheriff's sergeant. It was after Scantlin was signaled to pull over that he made U-turn and lead police on a 100 mph car chase. The sergeant that made the arrest said that Scantlin had been slurring his speech and smelled like alcohol.

Current charges against the Puddle of Mudd frontman include, DWI and fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle.

Scantlin has a previous history with police, being arrested in 2012 for drug possession and domestic violence in 2013. Puddle of Mudd last released an album back in 2011.
