YouTuber PewDiePie makes $7.4 million in 2014

Felix Kjellberg is a 24-year-old Swedish gamer who became extremely popular on the website YouTube. All of his work on YouTube has earned around $7.4 million.

His online name is PewDiePie and he plays video games, post them online, and films his hilarious comments while he plays.

According to Engadget, he has achieved 37.7 million subscribers on YouTube and his company makes millions of dollars.

PewDiePie has even more subscribers than Taylor Swift or One Direction.

With all the money and fame PewDiePie has remained humble. “I still spent far more money on charities than anything I’ve ever spent for myself,” comments the YouTuber.

In June 2014, PewDiePie helped to raise $1 million for various charities with the help of his “bro army” or what he calls his subscribers.

BBC reports that PewDiePie stays away from product placement deals.

“I make more than I need from YouTube. With that freedom, but also to respect my fans for making that possible, I don’t end up doing many endorsements.”

PewDiePie next plan is to launch his new book This Book Loves You, which is a collection of all his funny sayings and inspirational quotes.
