She took to Instagram on Tuesday to apologize to fans and let them know she’s canceling the remainder of the tour due to hemorrhaging her vocal cords.

"I am devastated, scared, and so sorry," she wrote. “I was being careful and taking precautions, but I have hemorrhaged my vocal cord again. I got bronchitis and have been coughing a lot & that pushed it over the edge.”

She went on to say she will need to take this time to undergo surgery, “to finally fix this once and for all."

Last month, Trainor had to cancel two shows for the same reason, explaining at the time that doctors put her on “complete vocal rest.”

In April, Sam Smith had to cancel the Australian dates of his tour due to his vocal chords being exhausted.
