‘America’s Got Talent’ crowns winner, says goodbye to Howard Stern (Video)

America’s Got Talent closed out its 10th anniversary season on Wednesday night, crowning a new champion. The show also said goodbye to another judge during the two-hour finale.

Following over an hour of performances that paired contestants with famous talents, the show finally got down to the business of choosing winners. In the end, it came down to comedian Drew Lynch and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin. Host Nick Cannon said there was just a 1 percent difference in the voting between them.

After dragging it out for as long as he could, Canon finally announced that Zerdin is the winner.

“I’m totally speechless,” Zerdin said. “Thank you so much!”

By winning the show, Zerdin wins $1 million and will get his own show in Las Vegas.

The show also acted as a goodbye to Howard Stern, who announced that this is his last season in June. He got his own four-minute tribute, which featured him walking around Manhattan and talking to people.

AGT was picked up for an 11th season and will return next summer. Details about auditions are right here.
