First of all, there is practically no doubt that Kit Harington is returning as Jon Snow this season, as he was yet again spotted in Belfast, where filming takes place, along with costar Iwon Rheon. Harington first got there at the end of July, so there's absolutely no way he would be there this entire time if he hasn't rejoined the crew. Jon Snow lives, everyone.

It seems like Snow will likely be resurrected sometime in the first few episodes of the season, and then he'll continue to play a major role just as he always has. What will his role be as a man resurrected after being stabbed to death by his closest companions? We may now know, but fair warning, if true, this is a pretty big spoiler for events late in the season.

According to Watchers on the Wall, the Game of Thrones crew has begun filming a massive battle scene in Saintfield, Northern Ireland, which will take place in episode nine. Their sources indicate this will be a battle between the northern armies including the Umbers, the Boltons, and the wildlings. Here's the juiciest part, though: Kit Harington has been seen at this location, suggesting Jon Snow takes part in this battle.

So could Snow himself be the one leading the wildlings to defeat the Boltons and take back Winterfell? We'll find out next year, but needless to say, it appears that Jon Snow will be back with a vengeance.
