A new teaser for A Very Murray Christmas was released by Netflix today and we still can’t believe that this is an actual thing. Yes, Bill Murray and Sofia Coppola actually gathered a bunch of their famous friends to film a Christmas special, which will only be available on Netflix.
The 30-second teaser lists many of Murray’s co-stars and appears to show that there might be some kind of a plot. Murray is seen telling a group of workers that, “Tonight will go down as the greatest night in history.” Well, with Murray around, it won’t be hard to see that happen.
The show features Murray worrying that no one will go to his TV show thanks to a snow storm. So, his guests - including Michael Cera, Rashida Jones, George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Miley Cyrus, Jason Schwartzman, Maya Rudolph, Paul Schaeffer and the band Phoenix - still go to his hotel to cheer him up.
