Chance the Rapper to debut new song on ‘Late Show’

Chance the Rapper is debuting a new song on the Monday (10/26) showing of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Chance had recently announced during an interview with Hot 97 that he was collaborating on a song with Stephen Colbert, per Complex, and while he wouldn’t reveal many details about the project, he spoke highly of The Late Show host.

“Me and Stephen Colbert have been working on a song together, and it’s gonna released very soon,” Chance said on air. “He’s amazing. I can’t get that deep into it, but he’s amazing.”

While a Chance and Colbert collaboration appears strange at first sight, it should be noted that Colbert is no stranger to music, having released a hilarious love song titled Charlene (I’m Right Behind You) with his band Stephen and the Colberts in 1986, according to the A.V. Club.

Colbert also appears to have some rapping skills, as seen here in his famous guest appearance on Whose Line Is It Anyway?, back when it was hosted by Drew Carey.

Tune in Monday at 10:35 p.m. on CBS to catch Chance and Colbert’s new jam.
