Shania Twain forced to cancel tour dates due to illness

Shania Twain has been forced to cancel some shows of her final tour.

The Come on Over singer announced on her Facebook page that the cancellations are due to respiratory infection she has been diagnosed with.

A show scheduled for Tuesday evening in Manchester, New Hampshire was canceled as was a Wednesday evening show in Albany, New York. The Rock the Country tour is set to resume on Friday, Oct. 9, in her native Canada.

The posting also said that since the dates cannot be rescheduled, therefore tickets for those shows are being refunded and that "Shania Twain apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause her fans and greatly appreciates their understanding.”

Unfortunately for the fans who were hoping to see Twain perform live in concert, this was their last chance. The 50-year-old recently announced that this tour would be her last.

Over the years she has produced some mega hits including You’re Still the One and Man! I Feel Like A Woman!
