Taylor Swift explains that despite popularity now she knows it might not last

Taylor Swift has sold out stadiums around the world, topped the charts with all of her albums and has millions of fans that support her every move, but Swift is aware that fame doesn't last forever.

During an interview with Vogue Australia, Swift opened up about how she feels about her current popularity. "I am so lucky that people seem to like me right now but in no way, shape or form is it a permanent thing," explained Swift. "And I think being aware of that is what keeps you on the game. The public could change their minds about me tomorrow. Things are good right now but I'm never going to be stupid, foolish or ignorant enough to think I have control over the public."

The "Bad Blood" singer is currently wrapping up her worldwide 1989 tour and is planning on taking a break following the completion of this tour. She stressed the need to take a break and hang out with friends but new music wasn't out of the question. "I think I should take some time off. I think people might need a break from me. I’m going to… I don’t know. Hang out with my friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don’t know," Swift told NME.

Swift's 1989 Worldwide Tour will wrap up in December.
