Bristol Palin slams media for taking Starbucks red cup controversy and running with it

Bristol Palin blames the media for the backlash related to Starbucks’ holiday cups this year, taking to her blog to give her two cents on the controversy.

The daughter of former vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, believes the backlash was started by a small group of people but the media took that and "ran with it."

“They used one small group’s opinion about the cups and began attributing it to the greater Christian community,” she wrote.

She continued, “The mainstream media and the Left love their outrage machine where they claim the world is ending because any number of tiny people have expressed hurt feelings on social media. So now, they’re taking a tiny fraction of people’s response and attributing it to all conservative Christians.”

Palin, who is currently expecting her second child, said she buys her coffee “locally” anyway. She also accused the media’s “hype” surrounding the holiday cups of being “just another attempt by the LEFT to make Christians look stupid.”
