Gisele Bundchen’s $700 coffee table book sells out

Gisele Bundchen just made a lot of money for charity doing what she does best—posing for pictures.

According to the publisher’s website, Bundchen’s coffee table book, Gisele, sold out on Nov. 5, before it even hit shelves. The book sold for $700, and only 1,000 copies were printed.

“The book sold out before it even was released. Gisele was shocked and so was the publisher," a source told People. The publisher, Taschen, was prepared to market the book for the upcoming holiday season.

Bundchen, who is giving the profits to charity, expressed her excitement about the book’s success on social media.

“I’m feeling gratitude for the love and affection I received from everyone today at the launch of my book, thank you for being present at this very special moment for me,” the supermodel wrote on Instagram.

The book was filled with 300 photos, including some naked shots, of Bundchen.

Taschen said that the book was “personally curated and designed by Gisele in collaboration with [creative director] Giovanni Bianco.”
